Founded in 1999, Hitachi Energy High Voltage Switchgear (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. is Hitachi Energy’s GIS & gas-insulated lines (GIL) facility in China which includes manufacturing, R&D center, test lab and service, offering a full range of high-voltage products from 72.5 kilovolts (kV) up to 1200 kV. Based on the advanced technology, the company continues to explore innovative solutions for customers’ interests.
In accordance with Hitachi Energy's advantages in global R&D and engineering platform, the factory has adopted modern processing techniques and efficient production management, reaching an annual capacity of more than 4000 bays. Combining our group’s global standard with the needs of local market, the factory has fully met customers’ demands. The Ultra High Voltage (UHV) test laboratories can perform tests on all high-voltage products up to 1,200 kV with advanced testing equipment and inspection techniques, reinforcing products’ safety and reliability and enabling reliable on-time delivery.
To improve customer service, the factory offers a 24/7 hotline for customers’ questions and a customer response process to ensure effective communication and efficient problem solution for customers. Besides professional on-site service for erection and commissioning, the factory also provides expert team to help customize training courses. A comprehensive service portfolio is committed to the smooth product operation and to creating a safe and convenient user experience.
Up to now, the factory has delivered more than 11,000 bays for more than 2,000 substations in China and overseas markets, including the 1100kV GIL technology and product provided for the worlds’ first UHV power transmission project under the Yangtze River, the GIS and GIL provided for the world’s first ±500kV three-terminal power HVDC project CSG Yunnan-Guizhou interconnection channel , the world’s first 550kV SF₆-free EconiQ GIS to Central China Branch of SGCC, 1100kV GIS for the expansion projects of Nanchang and Nanyang Substations of State Grid,and the products as well as services provided for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau B ridge, Beijing Olympic Stadiums – the Birds Nest and Water Cube, and for the customers all over the world in utility and industry.
