Hitachi Energy Datong Traction Transformers Co., Ltd. is a joint venture of Hitachi Energy and CRRC Datong Co., Ltd. The company was founded in 2005 and currently covers an area of 8370 square meters. Hitachi Energy Datong Traction Transformers Co., Ltd. is focusing on the design, production and service in traction transformer and reactor.

Being the first and only joint venture of Hitachi Energy producing traction transformer in China, the company holds the international level with advanced design philosophy and high quality manufacture. It takes into full consideration of high reliability, low maintenance costs, low life cycle costs and other factors when designing products. The high-capacity, mini-size and low weight products have ensured the reliable and high-efficient running of the high speed EMUs and the electric locomotives.
