The second edition of the global awards program recognized partners from all over the world.
Hitachi Energy hosted the Transformers Business Distributor Awards ceremony, with over 200 employees and partners who met virtually to celebrate from different countries and time zones. The awarding ceremony was an opportunity to recognize the exceptional achievements of distributors for their dedication, performance, and collaboration, which have been vital to business success in 2024.
Bruno Melles, Managing Director of the Transformers Business at Hitachi Energy, and Giuseppe Petrelli, Head of Marketing and Sales for the Transformers Business at Hitachi Energy, shared their gratitude to all the partners for their trust, loyalty, and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of the continued partnership and commitment to growth.
We have a firm commitment to leverage our channels in the future because we realize that to reach, serve, and develop customers is a joint effort between our ability to deploy the Hitachi Energy team and to deploy partners that are working with us to reach every corner of the globe. Also, Giuseppe Petrelli took a moment to recognize their importance to the Transformers Business globally, calling them “our antennas, eyes, and brains in the market”. “Distributors play a vital role in the transformer business. They help us understand market segments and the right product applications, which are crucial for effectively deploying the transformer portfolio, especially for products like distribution transformers, dry type transformers, and insulation components.”
The winners
The award program involved a two-step process for selecting award winners, involving nominations from regional marketing and sales teams and final voting by the Transformers Business Leadership Team.
