In recent times, there has been a rise in fraudulent job offers targeting aspirants looking for an opportunity at Hitachi Energy especially the students and fresh graduates. The scam is often offered via emails, Facebook, Zalo or other social media platforms. It can be convincing, and many fall victim to them.

Many a time, these scammers conduct interviews in the name of recruitment drives and also promise jobs in the organization for monetary favors. We want to ensure that you stay informed, alert, and safe from such malicious activities from scamsters.

Please look our warning signs of fake job offers, identify the common tactics used by scammers, and practical steps you can take to protect yourself.

How to identify a fake job offer?

  1. Too Good to Be True: Beware, when you feel you are being offered a high-paying job, despite holding a different job experience or requiring little to no experience from the profile.
  2. Creating urgency: The scammers often try to put pressure on you by cajoling you to take immediate action to confirm your seat, this could include such as paying certain fees or providing personal information immediately.
  3. Unprofessional communication: These scamsters are often unaware of our messaging and our practices. On a closer look, you can easily find out poorly written emails with grammatical errors, suspicious email addresses, or communication from unofficial domains and also missing taglines, brand messages.
  4. Unclear job description: If the job description is vague or if the interviewer cannot provide clear details about the job, it's a red flag. Always verify the open job offer at our website.
  5. No In-Person interview: Scammers may avoid face-to-face interviews and instead conduct interviews through unverified platforms.

How to avoid scam?

  1. Research the employer: Always verify the company's website and contact information. Use official channels to reach out and confirm job offers.
  2. Use trusted sources: Please leverage our career page (website, LinkedIn, Vietnamworks), our LinkedIn pages to find open positions in the organization.
  3. Payments: We never ask the job seekers to pay for training, equipment, or background checks before you start working with us.

What are genuine offers from Hitachi Energy like?

Any genuine offer from Hitachi Energy will always be preceded by a formal online application by the candidate and interviews. We do not ask for bank details unless the candidate joins us after an offer has been officially accepted and the employee has started working. We never ask for money from job applicants. The offer letters from Hitachi Energy is shared via email from Talent Partner in charge of recruitment process, with the email address from @hitachienergy.com.
