As a Bid Specialist you create preliminary design cost estimations for dry type transformers plus inductors according to customer specifications. Your responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to define technical tender requirements

• Develop preliminary design of the product

• Prepare a technical sheet and propose suitable technical solutions to be integrated in the proposal documentation

• Create accurate cost estimates and define material requirements in ERP 

• Obtain accurate pricing information by collaborating with suppliers & vendors

• Ensure on-time cost estimate submittal to the bid and proposal team

• Maintaining accurate technical and costing product information throughout the entire deal lifecycle

• Provide technical tender support during bid revision or negotiation

• Ensure clear and timely communication with all tender stakeholders

Your background

• University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or similar vocational education (high school – perito elettrotecnico, apprentice – apprendistato/istituto tecnico industriale)

• First experience in a similar role, especially considering the technical skills is an advantage

• Experience in Microsoft 365 tools, preferably, knowledge of SAP, CAD and AI

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills as well as a self-starter mentality

• Fluent in English, Italian would be beneficial

• Willingness to travel up to 10% on short trips
