  • Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights and advising leadership on risks, opportunities, and positioning
  • Drive advocacy initiatives related to grid expansion, electrification, industrial competitiveness, transport, trade, and export policies
  • Support and contribute to EU-level advocacy efforts in collaboration with Swedish stakeholders and international teams
  • Prepare executive briefings, policy papers, messaging, and speaking materials for senior leadership
  • Strengthen Hitachi Energy’s thought leadership by ensuring active participation in key forums, consultations, conferences, and working groups
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Communications, Sustainability, Business Units, and Corporate Functions to ensure a consistent and impactful public affairs approach

Your background

  • Solid knowledge of Sweden’s energy system, electrification agenda, grid challenges, and broader industrial competitiveness topics.
  • Experience or exposure to EU legislative processes, trade policy, export promotion, or export finance is a strong advantage.
  • Proven skills in policy analysis, stakeholder management, and strategic advocacy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and regulatory topics into clear and compelling messages.
