Electrical Engineer

The opportunity

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an electrical engineer to join our Power Grids Technology business at Hitachi Energy. You will be joining a well-structured team operating in the Baltic countries, consisting of engineering, service, and project management teams, with a total of 30 people.

We are seeking an electrical engineer who will be responsible for engineering, commissioning, and maintenance of control and protection systems in up to 330kV installations. Close cooperation with clients and subcontractors is essential.

How you'll make an impact

• You engineer, commission and maintain protection, control and related systems in accordance with company and client requirements.
• You solve technical problems and offer new solutions for customers in collaboration with the team.
• You coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
• You're willing to perform basic hands-on tasks when needed.

Your background

• You hold an electrical engineering qualification at EstQF/EQF Level 6 or higher.
• You have practical skills of graphical CAD systems and designing systems such as Eplan, E3, AutoCad or similar.
• You are proficient in Estonian and English.
• You have good teamwork skills and sense of responsibility.
• You're ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment.
