Technician

The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to lead by example in our Power Transformer manufacturing facility. This role is critical in executing complex assembly processes—such as Winding, Core Stacking, or Active Part Assembly—while ensuring that every action aligns with our rigorous standards of safety, quality, and ethical conduct.

How you’ll make an impact:

• You will oversee and manage all team members to ensure 100% compliance with safety regulations and the correct wearing of PPE. Ensure all high-risk activities—such as working at heights and heavy lifting—strictly follow the ABRA ( Work at Height , Heavy lifting and Electrical work ) and maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace by performing regular checks on equipment and machinery to ensure they are in safe, working condition (5S & Housekeeping).

• You will read, understand, and execute production tasks according to the English Work Instructions (WI) and take full responsibility for the accuracy of quality data. Ensure all inspection results and production parameters are recorded correctly.

• You will identify and resolve immediate technical issues on the shop floor to ensure the production line meets the planned schedule without compromising quality and regularly inspect tools, jigs, and machinery. Ensure all assets are ready for use, calibrated, and maintained in peak condition to avoid downtime.

• You will proactively report production issues to management and provide constructive suggestions for process improvements to enhance efficiency and safety in the production line.

• You will ensure cooperation with the Design , P&F , Testing and Quality team to execute production plan. supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of Production staff.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a High Vocational Certificate (Diploma) or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Power, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the manufacturing of Power Transformers or Automotive/Electronic business.

• Fully understands and strictly follows safety protocols for Working at Heights, Heavy Lifting , Machine Safety ( Guarding & LOTO ) and working with Electrical system.

• Strong understanding of Electrical Principles and the ability to read complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

• Proficient in basic computer programs (MS Office: Excel, Word)  Special Consideration for SAP/ 4HANA. Ability to work rotating shifts.

• Can communicate in English both written and speaking. Good to read and fully comprehend Work Instructions (WI), Technical Manuals, and Safety Data Sheets written in English.
