Job Title: Global Head of R&D for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

The Opportunity: Join Hitachi Energy as the Global Head of R&D for EPM and lead our innovative journey towards the future of enterprise software solutions. This pivotal role offers you the chance to drive the development and delivery of high-quality products, working closely with our General Manager, Product Manager Lead, and PMO Lead. How You'll Make an Impact:

• Lead and manage the R&D Product Group, including software engineering, testing, and delivery.

• Partner closely with the General Manager, Product Manager Lead, and PMO Lead to deliver quality products.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a global R&D team of approximately 150 professionals.

• Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company's 2030 plan.

• Serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities.

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

• Drive the development of new products and enhancements to existing products in the portfolio.

• Manage the R&D budget and resources effectively to meet project goals and timelines.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Proven 20+ years’ experience in product development, software development, or software product delivery leadership.

• MBA or other related advanced degree, in addition to extensive business experience, is strongly preferred.

• Strong background in R&D with a focus on leadership and management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to meet with customers and serve as the technology point of contact for customer escalations and opportunities.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse team of engineers and technical experts.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.

• Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Experience working in a global organization with a matrix structure.

• Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in software product development and delivery.
