Team Manager-Applications & Solutions

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Team Manager with a strong technical background to lead software engineering teams which design, develop and run/maintain Web & Desktop Applications and other solutions. How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead and mentor Applications & Solutions team to ensure optimal performance, providing clear direction, motivation, and purpose.

• Conduct performance evaluations, support career growth initiatives, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Assign and monitor resources, ensuring efficiency and maximizing deliverables globally.

• People Management: Define main guidelines, allocate project tasks, motivate and monitor resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provide performance feedback regarding project progress.

• Application Management: Lead software engineering teams that oversee the entire SDLC, which includes architectural design, development, testing, integration and post-release.

• Motivation and Inspiration: Energize and inspire technical teams to achieve their goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Governance & Quality Assurance - Establish and enforce quality standards and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle .

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project goals and organizational standards Prepare.

• Stakeholder Relations: Act as the key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.

• You will promote and ensure a safe working environment by supporting adequate HSE measures in all activities undertaken by himself/herself & the team.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Batchler’s degree with significant (10-12 Year) experience in software engineering.

• Should have 2+ years of experience in a PMO or project coordination role.

• Should have strong technical knowledge in application development is a must.

• Should have excellent knowledge in Application “Requirement refinement”, Design, Development, Testing Requirements, Infrastructure/environment requirements, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Should have proficiency in MS Excel and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

• Should have detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Should have experience with cost forecasting and project reporting is preferred.

• Should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.

• Should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Should have proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
