Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a Shop Engineer for the Transformers Business to join their team in Savli, Gujarat, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. • Support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Correctly use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.

• Read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.

• Operate process equipment or machinery to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts into components or finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical engineering. 

• With Minimum 2 to 3 years of Experience in Transformers Manufacturing (Preference for Dry Transformers Manufacturing).

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required

• Conducting the shop floor operations as per Hitachi Health & Safety guidelines.

• Capable of operating the machines & equipment’s in accordance with its work instructions & production standards.

• Executes the assigned work in accordance with agreed work flows as per Hitachi Production Standards

• Carries out routine set up & adjustments as well as simple repairs & fits simple replaceable parts

• Maintains a clean & safer working area.
