The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will check the execution of the design process, inspect the quality control documents as EoC, QIC and checklists.

2. You will track the process, validate and close of design related ECN/NCR/CCRP and collect and analyze design related ECN/NCR/CCRP data, guide and supervise design quality improvement.

3. You will evaluate, track and verify the implementation and effectiveness of the design quality improvement plan and prepare monthly report of design quality analysis.

4. You will participate in design review, identify potential risks, and propose improvement and conduct technical compliance review of important and batch projects.

5. You will monitor the implementation of DFEMA and the status of sharing and implementation of lessons learned and ETQ from global.

6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's or master's degree of Electrical/mechanical Engineer.

2. Experience more than 7 years in transformer electrical/mechanical design.

3. Transformer electrical/mechanical design experience on 110kV/220kV power transformer, furnace transformer, VSD, traction feeder transformer and wind turbine transformer etc.

4. Strong team working ability, good communication skills, familiar with quality audit process and quality tools are preferred.

5. A team player, growth mindset, team oriented and autonomous, structured approach for problem solving.

6. Quick learner with ability to master new areas and have curiosity in different types of transformer solution, customer focus, vender solutions etc.

7. Fluent in English Language in both spoken and written is a must.
