The opportunity
You join a team that shapes the future of digital platforms at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you explore new technologies, test bold ideas, and turn them into working prototypes. Your work accelerates product development, strengthens our platforms, and supports digital transformation. You have a direct impact on technical direction, from concept to pilot.
Every day gives you space to experiment, learn, and evaluate emerging trends. You work with architects, digital leads, and product teams to bring pioneering ideas to life. This role is ideal if you enjoy discovery, prototyping, and creating value from technology.
How you’ll make an impact- You lead end‑to‑end development of innovative platform solutions.
- You evaluate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, and cloud‑native tech.
- You define integration strategies with architects and digital leaders.
- You collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- You translate needs into technical specifications and solutions.
- You run feasibility studies and benchmarking activities.
- You prepare documentation for architectures and prototypes.
- You present findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development or innovation roles.
- Solid understanding of state‑of‑the‑art IT platforms and market trends.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
