Factory IT Service Delivery Specialist

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will lead the Site IT team/ resources in the factory or Hitachi Energy site​, act as a point of contact for IT supplier and CDC teams​ for IT related topics and ensure the Ticket Mgt, Ticket Triage and Escalation.

2. You will provide Infrastructure support/ delivery onsite​, maintain Governance and security onsite​ also collect and manage the demand business requirements for factory / office​.

3. You will provide IT Build project management​, provide a first line support and governance​ for applications and ensure OT Asset IT/OT Cybersecurity operational management​.

4. You will ensure First response for Cybersecurity emergency, plan and manage factory/ site IT Budget and cost control also ensure Machine Connectivity with network core switches.

5. You will manage specific applications and vendor coordination on software and network connectivity.(PLC programming out of scope)​ and ensure access to relevant applications for the factory or Hitachi Energy site.

6. You will ensure (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both company and the employee also work onsite to the site or factory your assigned to full time.

7. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, or  10+ years of experience in Information Systems.

2. Required with 5+ years prior experience in IT, 2 years of experience in project management of complex global projects.

3. Experience in process management, business process improvement, business process management, or value stream mapping.

4. Experience with manufacturing operations methods, process, and change management is an advantage.

5. Experience in complex stakeholder scenarios, cross-functional problem solving and advanced understanding of IT procedures and policies, together with end-to-end business processes knowledge.

6. Flexibility to manage multiple shifts of IT resources in a factory environment.

7. Fluent English communication skills & good local language skills of the major country of responsibility.
