VMware/vCloud Administrator

Your Background

You have extensive and deep knowledge in VMware vCloud Director and VMware administration running on ESXi platforms with experience from complex enterprise system environments. You have been leading enterprise class Data Center operations and have experience with vSphere and infrastructure design.
Knowledge on Virtualization: VMware vSphere, vRealize Operations, vCloud Director, Physical servers, TCP/IP, AD and DNS, Access Management, Templates and Media files management, PowerShell scripting, ticket resolving, Strategic capacity planning, Multi-tenant architecture design.

Job Description
VMWare/vCloud administrator will be responsible for:

• Lead vCloud platform strategy, roadmap planning, and performance optimization across the enterprise.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex vCloud issues and architectural decisions.
• Design, create, upgrade, and maintain enterprise-scale vCloud organizations and vApps.
• Manage performance and capacity planning across multiple vCloud environments with forecasting capabilities.
• Provide expert-level technical support for vCloud installations, patching, and system updates with minimal downtime.
• Develop and control administrative rights frameworks and comprehensive user access policies.
• Define best practices by setting up usage limits and resource allocation guidelines.
• Research and resolve critical vCloud problems while establishing improved performance metrics and SLAs.
• Mentor users and administrators on vCloud best practices and system adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and automation across the vCloud environment.
• Design enterprise vCloud templates and manage media files based on organizational requirements
• Lead patching strategies and coordinate complex issue resolution with team members.
• Develop procedures for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vCloud systems.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination to users, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain network configurations, security policies, and daily operational support.
