Please be aware that related factory is in Kartal, Istanbul and will be moved to Dilovası, Kocaeli in 4-6 months.
How you’ll make an impact
Understand and comprehend customer requirements during quotation stage and after project receipt.
Support implementing engineering process to create complex project order designs and documents, keeping project cost in mind while fully aligning with customer specifications.
Perform design verification using engineering tools, standards, and customer requirements and archive documentation.
Proactively identify risks and mitigate in solution concept stage in consultation with Manager.
Align with manufacturing plan to deliver design specifications and create requirements in ERP.
Actively Lead Design review meetings before finalizing detailed engineering solution.
Visit and lead discussions with customers for Design reviews, approvals & clarifications.
Prepare/check manufacturing documents for Core-winding-active part 3D models, 2D drawings and Bill of material in ERP.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electrical - Electronics Engineering. Master Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Min.10 years of industry experience in electrical designing of Power Transformers and Shunt Reactors (preferably up to 400kV).
- Preferred to have knowledge and exposure to 2-D and 3-D CAD software packages like Creo/MagNet or similar.
- Having experience of working on optimization and cost saving projects using innovative design solutions, utilizing alternative materials, processes, and solutions.
- Strong level of self-motivation and structured approach to work
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
