The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence? Hitachi Energy is looking for a Hub Material Management Leader to drive end-to-end supply chain performance across our factory and warehouse locations in the Americas. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring seamless material flow and alignment with business goals. You’ll be the catalyst for standardization, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration—empowering teams and transforming processes to deliver exceptional results.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and harmonize planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory functions across the region.
  • Own warehouse performance and ensure service excellence to internal customers.
  • Standardize systems, tools, and processes across all sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean practices.
  • Collaborate with global teams to implement scalable solutions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, governance, and reporting structures.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • 10–20 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, or production environments.
  • Deep expertise in warehouse and material management, with strong SAP/EWM knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Lean and Six Sigma certification required.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Americas.
