The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as a Regional Renewable Business Developer - Automation & Communication and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. You'll play a crucial role in making a significant impact on our business growth and customer satisfaction and contribute to building a team/function. How you’ll make an impact
You will grow sales within automation & communication business (Substation Protection, control & communication) in APAC region. Acting directly with End-users and developers for promotion and positioning. Follow markets growth of Renewable, including Solar and Wind Farms, and Mission Critical Communications.
You will increase the pipeline and orders in APAC Wind and Solar markets, and you need special attention on Offshore Wind market active in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Philippines for which you will start promoting Hitachi Energy offer upstream to developers and eventual decision makers outside APAC.
You will increase the pipeline and orders in APAC for Mission Critical Communication, and you will support value proposition meetings by localizing technical proposals and attending Front-End-Sales / Renewables BDM customer meetings.
You will be leading or supporting under Hitachi Energy - PGGA guidance and best-practice (Pre-)FEED studies with a focus on Offshore Wind Transmission Substation Automation (incl. Software) & Communication solutions.
Identify, interpret, and prioritize local regulatory standards and requirements from e.g., cybersecurity standards and wireless bandwidth licenses through to localization requirements.
You will coordinate the internal Stakeholders in the region and the Global Product Group.
You will lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved. Responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up. Build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within the team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken. Create a workplace where everyone views health, safety and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
You hold a degree in Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent.
Preferring someone with sales skills, 3-5 years’ experience required.
Required experience across Electrical & Automation Industries within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.
Knowledge in Optical fiber telecommunication, high attention to detail.
Expresses opinions, able to work with multiple stakeholders and positions
Drive to exceed goals & Improve business practices for higher performance levels.
Define own plan within a larger strategy & contribute to strategy beyond own area.
Actively demonstrate open communication, teamwork & facilitate collaboration, connect across networks.
Define a case for change & mobilize individuals to change.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Nice to have:Experience / activity in the electrolysis for hydrogen market.
