Marketing and Sales Manager Europe – Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service

The opportunity

As part of the Hub Europe (HBUEU) within the Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group, you will lead the Hub Europe Marketing and Sales organization and its supporting functions to achieve their objectives. You will drive the team to increase market penetration and implement our strategy by collaborating with various departments within the Global Product Group and Operating Units in Hub Europe. Reporting to the Hub Manager Europe, Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service, you will oversee the Orders Intake of the Hub to best serve our customers and the growing market.

How you will make an impact

  • Manage the Marketing & Sales function of the Hub, ensuring the achievement of Hub Sales Targets, Gross Margin, and coverage of Business Models, Segments, and Applications. Implement the Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service Product Group strategies within the Hub.
  • Oversee Demand orders and allocated Demand countries within the Hub, ensuring Demand opportunities align with the HBU EU Strategy.
  • Drive portfolio and strategy across the Hub, developing plans with Clusters and Operating Units Marketing & Sales for successful implementation. Develop actions to increase market penetration and implement mechanisms like Frame Agreements and Capacity Reservation Agreements to secure the pipeline and delivery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Clusters and Operating Units within Hub EU Marketing & Sales to identify new market opportunities and maintain strong customer relationships, continuously promoting our offerings. Manage the Large Project Sales organization within the Hub to secure key Large Orders as part of our Growth strategy.
  • Utilize expertise from cross Hub and other Business Units within Hitachi Energy, as well as external partners, to support the pursuit of opportunities. Prioritize market pursuits based on feasibility, resource availability, and standardized solutions, driving shared lessons learned across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Country Front End organization to deploy HBU EU strategic priorities and portfolio, capturing markets and driving Business models implementation. Build relationships and partnerships with Strategic customers by engaging early and supporting them with our technologies and business models.

Your background

  • A  degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects
  • More than 15 years of experience in Sales, strong experience managing team and implementing Sales strategies across the team with a good track record of success within the Electrical and Power Industry
  • Self driven and experienced in driving the success of the team, able to motivate team members and working with different stakeholders and able to bring cross functional teams together.
  • Experiences in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
