HVDC System Design Senior Project Engineer

We incorporate the integrated systems, solutions and services of our business' DC and AC fields, including HVDC, Substations, FACTS, Grid and Power Quality solutions such as offshore wind connections, and Semiconductors. We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.

How you’ll make an impact

• As a project engineer, you will support both tenders and projects for HVDC system design, either locally or globally.

• You will develop personal competency by well accomplish each assignment.

• You will calculate HVDC main circuit parameters, design SLD, operation modes, RPC etc.

• You will model and study the performance and stability of HVDC system through simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC, Power Factory, PSSE etc.

• You will be Efficiently cooperating with every cross-function interface, make sure the understanding of each other’s need is sufficient.

• You will understand customer’s requirement thoroughly, ensure on time and high-quality delivery.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• You hold a master or above of engineering in Power System/Power Electronics.

• 3+ year of working experience in HVDC system design related.

• Extensive knowledge of power systems.

• Preferably experience of power system calculation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, Power Factory, PSSE and MATLAB.

• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

• Willingness of collaboration and sharing with team members.

• Strong self-learning aptitude with a high technical interest.

• Good interpersonal communication skill.
