Manager Cybersecurity Operation HVDC

The opportunity

For this position, we are looking for a collaborative, teamwork-oriented manager with a strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to share experience and guidance. We would welcome applications from experienced professionals who are keen to take their careers to the next level. To excel in this position, you will need to understand the Cybersecurity trends and regulatory challenges and work proactively to be one step ahead. 

At HVDC we are currently expanding our Cybersecurity function and will need to split the function into two teams. You will be heading the operational parts of the Cybersecurity function with our Project Cybersecurity Managers and Project Security Administrators. They are deeply involved in project execution and have the cross collaboration and coordination of all cybersecurity requirements in the projects.  Your task is to support and guide the team in the art of project management and administration and you will work with the other operations managers across HVDC to ensure the right and relevant tasks and Divisions of Work for the team.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Support the team in their day-to-day activities. 
  • Ensure relevant involvement in all projects at HVDC. 
  • Ensure the team have all the tools and applications needed to support the tasks. 
  • Participate in Project Reviews where necessary. 
  • As Cybersecurity Operations manager you will be able to answer most questions regarding project management. 
  • For ongoing projects, you will be involved in contractual and legal discussion for cybersecurity related questions together with our contract managers and legal specialists and counsels.

Your background

  • You have documented experience from leading positions such as team leader and/or Project Management.  
  • Knowledge of one or more critical infrastructure regulations such as NIS/NIS2, NERC-CIP, KRITIS. 
  • Knowledge regarding one or more protective security laws such as the Swedish Protective Security Act, National Security Act (UK) and more.  
  • Knowledge and experience from cybersecurity/information security frameworks such as ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST CSF, 
  • You are an engaged person who thrives in a constantly changing environment and enjoys collaboration with employees, peers and beyond.  
  • As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluency in English is required.
