Hitachi Energy is currently looking for a General Sales & Marketing for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Maneja (Vadodara) India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual.
Hitachi Energy is a leader in high-voltage technology, offering a wide range of high-voltage products up to 765 kilovolt (kV) helping enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate innovations in power transmission, enabling smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & delivers within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills.
Mission Statement
Will be focusing on Business Development and improving order booking for Isolator business.
Close Co-ordination with Engineering, SCM, Operations.
Bid & proposal standardization & competence development
Your Responsibilities
Prepare timely and comprehensive pre-bid documentation & presentations.
Determine most technical appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
Customer satisfaction improvement. Offer Value Based Selling in customer offerings for Isolator business in India. Technical know of High Voltage AIS Products is must i.e. Circuit Breakers / Instrument Transformers / Isolators.
Business developmental activities to expand Isolator business in India by proposing innovative solutions based on attractive technical and commercial solutions.
Bid & proposal standardization & competence development.
Ensure all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines.
Accountable for technical expertise and accuracy of the deliverables.
Engage with customers to learn and understand the drivers influencing their specification. Work out ideas on how to influence customer buying criteria.

Your background
A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional work experience in substations.
Technical or commercial background on university level or equivalent.
Multi culture experience is a benefit.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
