AusNet and Hitachi Energy enable Victoria’s largest grid-scale battery connection
AusNet and Hitachi Energy have partnered to deliver Victoria’s largest grid-scale battery connection at Mortlake Power Station — a major milestone in Australia’s clean energy transition. The 300 MW / 650 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will support grid stability and enable deeper integration of renewables into the national grid.
