The 30th edition of the COP takes place in Brazil, in the city of Belém, in the state of Pará. The chosen city offered the world a unique platform to discuss solutions to climate change with its feet stuck in the heart of the Amazon.

At COP30, we advocate for the development of electrical infrastructure. We share our knowledge and capabilities with international organizations, governments, experts, public service providers and the energy sector in general to support accelerating a fair, inclusive and meaningful energy transition for communities in Brazil and around the world.

Responding to Climate Change (RTCC)

RTCC is a non-profit organization and official observer of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).

At COP30, Hitachi Energy shared its knowledge and experience in the debates organized by RTCC. 

 

Swedish Pavilion

At COP30, Sweden’s focus was on delivering solutions that not only reduce emissions, but also generate jobs, prosperity and sustainable growth.

With a long-standing partnership with the Swedish delegation, Hitachi Energy participated in the “Sweden – The Climate Matchmaker” initiative.
