Hitachi Energy is looking for a Quality Technician who will have the main responsibility to work, develop and report the processes related to the company's Quality Management System in line with the company's policies and strategies. The role is based in our Dilovasi – Turkey Core Cutting Manufacturing factory. 

How you'll make an impact:

• Following up quality control processes (shunt project controls) in the shift.

• Reporting quality topics to management.

• Performing quality controls on finished products.

• Time based decisions (red, CA, escaleting) to support production continuity. 

• Supporting, involving and triggering quality&safety and 5S improvement projects.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.

Your Background

• Graduate of a Vocational High School in Electrical/Electronics, an Associate Degree in Electrical, or holding a valid MEB-approved Electrical certificate.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an electrical role within a factory/manufacturing environment, with knowledge of testing, maintenance & repair, and quality control processes.

• Having knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System& Having knowledge of MS Office programs (Word and Excel) & Having knowledge of usage of measurement equipment like micrometer and caliper.

• Having knowledge of SAP, QDMS & Having knowledge of transformer core process is a plus.

• English skill is a big plus.

• Residing or able to reside on the Anatolian side of Istanbul and Kocaeli & Able to work in shifts.
