The opportunity:
Support Supply Chain Procurement team in day-to-day activities and collaborate with suppliers to expedite the delivery of components for Germany Service Centre.
How you’ll make an impact:
Taking responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services as per the standard process workflow. Creating purchase orders and ensuring they are accurate and timely.
Transmits POs to suppliers and Expedites delivery when needed/ requested. Monitoring Inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of suppliers.
Assure that relevant systems are updated with procurement data, such as supplier, price, payment terms and other conditions. Evaluating the quality of goods received and ensuring they meet specifications.
Follow up with PM and warehouse team to ensure GRN done in time. Address and resolve the grief invoices and ensure on time payment.
Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise. Collaborating with other departments, such as Project Management, Technical, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve conflicts proactively and if needed escalate, seek help from Team lead or Management to ensure progress is on track.
Adhere to the Supply Chain management processes in the organization. Ensure Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines are followed in the team.
Ensure IS security policy followed in the team. Acts as role model for the team.
You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree , hands on experience of working with SAP MM module.
Knowledge of ERP system and P2P process. Very good knowledge & experience working with MS office tools.
Excellent skills in Speaking, Reading and writing English language, German Basic language is added advantage.
Close collaboration and regular connect with all the relevant stakeholders and functions.
Ability to work under pressure to manage customer expectations.
Should possess strong communications & negotiation skills to convince customers stakeholders.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
