Service Transformer Sales Manager - Italy (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Transformer Service Team within the Service Business Unit. In this role, you will lead the service sales organization, drive business growth, and strengthen relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead and develop the Service Sales team, ensuring high performance and achievement of sales targets.

  • Ensure strong selling capabilities and an effective team structure within the area of responsibility.

  • Support the team in defining sales plans, negotiating, and building customer segment expertise.

  • Analyze market potential with a focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and customer relationship management.

  • Promote value‑added service offerings and support Life Cycle Management initiatives.

  • Oversee the bid process and ensure CRM data accuracy, providing reliable internal sales reporting.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the transformer service business.

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers, accounts, and suppliers.

  • Participate in major contract negotiations to secure service sales volume.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to shape commercial strategy.

Your Background

  • Engineering degree with proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the service or transformer sector.

  • Strong sales track record in the energy systems business.

  • Results‑oriented, customer‑focused, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Self‑driven, proactive, and a team player with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel and manage relationships across Italy.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
